Update

This Past Week...

Heavy rain, flooding, and mudslides through our mountains, especially in Forest Falls and Oak Glen. Roads closed, drivers were trapped, and some homes were damaged. It’s been a hard reminder of how quickly life here can change.

And yet, what always stands out in these moments is how people step up — checking on neighbors, sharing food, lending tools, or simply offering encouragement. Even the smallest act of care adds up to strength when we’re facing challenges together.

Road Conditions
Highway 38 and several canyon roads remain affected by closures and cleanup work. If you’re planning to travel, please check official updates before heading out:

Caring for the Canyon We Share:

How We Come Together Each Year

"Every spring, neighbors roll up their sleeves for the annual Canyon Cleanup. It's not just about trash bags, it's about showing up for the place we all share. When the community comes together, the canyon shines brighter." – Terry Hamilton, Mountain C.A.R.E.
